Challenge #48: What Would You Do If . . . | Click To Read More . . .

Hi, I'm Jon Gunzel and welcome to your next challenge . . .

Today your challenge is to make a list of things you love doing so much you would do them for a job and not accept any payment.

This challenge goes to the core of who you are and what you love to do.  By the time we reach adulthood, most of us have stopped really dreaming and using our imagination.  Life become more about survival and putting out fires than creating the world we want to live in.

This challenge is to figure out what you love doing so much you'd do it every day for free.  Get the easy answers out of the way first.  Of course we'd take naps or sit on the beach for free, but after a few weeks that would get pretty boring and we'd start looking for things to do.  This is the point where you will really learn something about yourself.

Think about what you would love to do that would create value in other peoples lives.  Who would you help, how would you help them?  What would the purpose be?

Most adults have only a vague idea of what their purpose is in this life and even those that think they know their purpose often faulter when that purpose is tested.  Now I'm not talking about a general purpose, like to live life or help mankind, I'm talking about a deep personal purpose unique only to you that drives your decisions and actions every single day and fills you with excitement and joy.

We tell all our clients, "If you don't yet know your purpose, your first purpose is to get a purpose!"  This challenge will give you the first clues of what your purpose may be.

So that's your challenge for today.  Make a list of things you love doing so much you would do them every day for free.  Keep this list in your Daily Success Journal and continue to add to it as you journey through your life.  Some of the biggest clues to your future success will come from this list if you put your best effort into it.

You are really making great progress.  Keep up the amazing effort and we'll see you in the next challenge!
