Hi! I'm Trina Gunzel and welcome to your next challenge!
Today your challenge is to get to work, school, or run errands in a totally new way. It might be taking a different route, vehicle, or time of day but it has to be completely different from your standard routine.
So, some examples of this might include riding your bike or taking some form of public transportation to work instead of driving. Or, you might drive a back road going out to get groceries or on the way back from picking up your kids. If you usually go somewhere late, try getting there early and select a new route in your GPS to check out some new scenery and spaces.
Now, you might be thinking, "Why would you have me do this?"
Well, here's the thing, it's important that we continue to learn, grow, and challenge ourselves. This keeps our brain developing and adds new experiences to our life. Just doing these small changes can increase our courage, our ability, our skills, and we may even discover some things that we didn't even know were just around the corner from us.
With my family, everywhere we travel, we always drive around in the town we are going to stay. We find the local grocery store, library, some favorite restaurants and the main roads and the side roads. It always seems to be on a side road we find a cool park, the best restaurant, or a beautiful neighborhood. This helps us make everywhere we go feel like home and it also keeps us alert and growing. With GPS you can search anything and have maps to guide you, so make the time to have a new experience and have fun with this!
Okay, so your challenge for today is to get to work, school, or run errands in a totally new way. It might be taking a different route, vehicle, or time of day but it has to be completely different from your standard routine.
Keep up the great work and I can't wait to hear about what you find when you post in the Facebook group! See you tomorrow on the next challenge!
