Hi! I'm Trina Gunzel and welcome to your next challenge!
Today's challenge is to research a new group, club, or organization in your area that you're interested in. We aren't saying you have to join it, just learn more about them, what they do, when they meet and think about how it would feel to be a part of a community of like minded people.
Now, this might be really helpful to you if you just moved to a new area or if you've lived in the same time and are looking to build some relationships.
When I moved to Missouri, I wanted to make new friends so I researched and joined a MOPS group for Mothers of Preschoolers and a gardening club.
I made great friends from those groups that I still keep in touch with today.
Online, you can research organizations and even search in facebook for groups that are about things you enjoy or have common interests in.
I am in a Type 1 Diabetes group for support for parents of Type 1 kids, I am in a group that paints rocks because I enjoy art, some full time RV groups for travel, and also some writer's groups. My online groups go with my anwhere I travel and keep my friends list growing as I make more.
Again, only join if you want to, but have fun with this challenge and make it work for you.
Remember, you are researching a new group, club, or organization in your area that you're interested in. We aren't saying you have to join it, just learn more about them, what they do, when they meet and think about how it would feel to be a part of a community of like minded people.
Sometimes it's just nice to have a place for networking, the opportunity to go out and socialize if you want to, and to know that there are other people in the world you have things in common with.
There is probably a group or club for anything you are interested in and if there's not, for a bonus, start one!
It is our pleasure to get to connect with you every day and share your success. Let us know your progress in the Facebook Group and remember to keep track in your journal. You are creating something amazing doing this work! See you on the next challenge tomorrow!
