Today's Challenge is to set up a Daily Success Journal and learn how to use it.
Ok. What is a Daily Success Journal and how do we do we use it.
I'm going to tell you right now, this is my favorite technique for daily happiness and I personally HATE journaling. The good news is, a Daily Success Journal is not really journaling at all.
All this journal is, is notebook, either digital or paper that you fill out right before you go to sleep for the night. Each entry tracks the date and your accomplishments for the day. That's it. Super simple.
For me, I use Microsoft OneNote for many things in my life and I have a special tab in my notebook. Each night before I go to bed, I pull up OneNote in my phone and record the things I got done. It's very quick. At the very least you should be keeping track of completing each challenge each day right?
Ok, now why? Tracking our Daily Success or accomplishments like going for a walk or eating a new food might seem small today. But on the days when you are feeling less than successful, it helps a lot to have kept EVIDENCE of all the amazing things you do each day. We really dive deep into this concept in some of our other programs if you are interested, but the important thing to take away here is create evidence of your daily successes.
Alright, that's it. Your challenge today, is to set up your Daily Success Journal and learn how to use it. The learning part is done, just go get your journal setup and record you success in completing this challenge. We'll use it every day from here on out!
