Hi!  I'm Trina Gunzel and welcome to the next lesson in the Stories To Success System.  Getting to create your program is really exciting and this is where everything you've learned so far is going to start coming together to turn your purpose into profits.  But first, we have to give you space to make that happen!

In this lesson, we are going to look at the mindset it takes to create products, successfully.  We're going to teach you the dreamer, planner and critic states that are going to allow you to be able to create, on demand.  So let's jump in because this is the key to strategic, battle and tactical planning to make your dreams reality!

{S2S Intro Splash}

Okay, so you know how every day you have big ideas, great intentions, and then life gets in the way and you don't actually seem to make the progress you want toward reaching your goals?

We are going to help you right now, create space and give you a structure so that you ensure you are making daily progress.

One of our incredible mentors, Michael Bennett, taught us an incredible Dream Sculpting Process we learned and became certified in before he passed away.  Now, we'd like to share it with you so you can have the same benefits.

In order to do this best, you want to have three large white post it notes, large sheets of white butcher paper, poster board or white boards you can use to write on and keep.

For this example, we are going to choose three of those Giant White Sticky Post It Notes you can get at Staples.

We want you to put up your large white notes next to each other so you can see them all, but they are three distinct pieces.

At the top of one, we want you to write Dreamer.  On the second one, write Planner, and on the third one write Critic.

Now, on the Dreamer note, you are only going to allow yourself to put your dreams.  That's right.  This is a free flow space.  Everything is allowed.  You want to be able to capture your ideas without any judgement.  There are no bad ideas!  This is really going to help you be able to allow your creativity to sore and welcome any and all ideas as you look forward to future ideas and expanding your business, family and personal goals.

Next, when you have one idea that you really want to test and see how it would work if you took it to the next level, we want you to write that idea on your Planner Board.  This is where you are going to take the actions steps to brainstorm everything you think it will possibly take to get this idea to become reality.

Really dig deep here and flush this all out.  What costs are involved?  What location is needed?  How long will your idea take to implement?  When will it take place?  Who will you invite?  Who is it for?  What problem does it solve?  You get the idea, right?

You can use small colored sticky notes for this if you'd like to be able to move things around later, but the big idea is that you look in detail at all of the specific plans it takes to make you dream reality.  By focusing on one idea at a time, you can really make huge things happen, fast.  You can duplicate this process with any dream you have that you want to see if it's a viable product or idea that can really work to grow your business by helping others.

Now, we are going to take this idea over to our next work space, The Critic.  It's important to remember that each of these spaces, the Dreamer, The Planner, and The Critic and valuable and essential to our success.  But, they do NOT interact at the same time.  So, if you need to break this up into different time slots or even days, make sure when you are in each state, you do not let the others in.

So, keeping that in mind, let's look at the role of the Critic.  Take that idea that is all planned out and putting your Critic hat on, see if you can rip it apart.  Using a different colored sticky notes, find the areas where this plan will fail, where it just won't work, and where it will fall apart.

Then, after you have had your Critic hat on and found the trouble areas with this plan, have it all written out on sticky notes and with any questions or comments, send it back to the Dreamer.

That's right, you put on that creative hat and you see it all in a new light.  Read the comments and questions from the Planner and Critic and see how you can add to the Dream based on this new data.  Blow that dream up as big as it can get, then repeat the same process sending it to the Planner and Critic Faze as many times as you need to so that you have all of the possible components you need to really make this dream come to life.

In addition to this incredible tool, we are going to give you the action steps you need to really get organized and make your dreams happen.

You are going to take this big idea based on the Dreamer, Planner and Critic steps, then go into full on Strategic, Battle and Tactical Planning.

This is where you are going to go into your One Note Tool and make a Strategic Plan that states the big idea that you are trying to accomplish and why.  This is where you really get to communicate your message, articulate your purpose and say why your idea will give value to others.  What problems will it solve.

Then, in your Battle Plan, make another note of what you have to really accomplish in order to make this happen.  This is the logistics of your plan.  Write it out so you have your launch date, and all of your who, what, when, where, why, and how questions answered.  This is going to help you get organized and give you the confidence because you are communicating how you're going to get it done.

Last, create your Tactical Plan.  This is where you are going to list out every single thing in order that you have to do to make this idea reality.  Use check boxes so you can have a detailed list to mark off as you go.  You can use this process over and over again to make everything you want to happen actually come to life.

This ability to dream, plan, criticize then take those plans to a session where you create a strategy, battle and tactical plan are how leaders actually get people to follow.  Through this organizational structure, expansion is possible and we are truly building for success with intentional action.

So, I know you are ready to get started so I'm going to share your action steps for today.

  1. Download The Success Builder Board to help you through this process of taking your dream and turning it into a reality.
  2. Get into One Note and create your Strategic, Battle and Tactical Plans so you have the structure and can take intentional action.

That's it!  You have been preparing for this and you have all of the spaces in mind to create effectively, to plan, to look critically at your action and then organize it all for success.  Take your time and make best use of this lesson.  It will serve you well anytime you choose to implement it and is one of the most valuable processes you will ever learn.

In the next lesson, we are going to be teaching you how to actually make a product.  You're going to understand the 3 steps to product creation that have to happen before your product can exist as you Name, Want and Get Your Product.

You are doing awesome and well on your way to being your own success story! Keep up the great work and we'll see you in the next lesson.
